i've been feeling crafty too. even pulled out my quilting book last night! what am i thinking?! I stopped putting things in my etsy shop- i could never get it to work for me! I don't know why. Since I already have my own online shop, I thought I should just focus on that. But etsy is so well known.... Oh well.Hope it works for you!
As someone said, maybe it's the need for comfort which the idea of "craft" invokes. I'm all over that fibre thing too. Geez! lol
In order to really work I think etsy is one of those viral markets where it might look easy but there's a whole lotta paddling going on under the surface. The challenge is tempting me.
This is right around the time when my Etsy sales usually pick up. Post-Christmas can also be good. I've had a surprising number of sales in January and into February.
Setting up the shop can be quite a bit of work, though.
Crafty for me goes along with cozy and that urge often kicks in at this time of year. Maybe it's related to Christmas, making things for gifts, making ornaments, etc. It's nice to settle on the couch and sew or knit something you don't have to think too much about. :-) I'll look forward to seeing what comes out of your crafting.
Thanks Gerri - the spider is a small component on one of the tin shrines. And yes, I do tend to work in series. Not "exact" replicas. As much for my own sanity as for someone getting a "one of". :)
Our Thanksgiving has long gone past - first Monday in October - so I guess technically I could decorate. I won't until after December 1. I'm not jonesing THAT badly. lol

i'd love a card.
i bought the zentangle box, but really haven't used it much. i thought it would help me with my doodles on polymer paper.
sorry about the doctors.
crafts aren't necessarily lots of the same thing. i think you're working in a series.
i hate those asian beetles that masquerade as lady bugs. they bite and swarm.
