Swaps 'n' stuff...
... so along with the frothy drinks and art yesterday, I also went through my boxes of swaps. I have one specifically reserved for my 20 Things exchange I participated in - what? 4 years ago, now! - the collection means more than using some of the pieces even though I don't get to *see* them every day. Going back through is so very inspirational! And it makes me nostalgic - many of the swaps were from Nervousness - when I was new to the whole book arts/mixed media/dark arts thang - and I want some of that back.
So. I want to do an LJ 20 Things - 20 people create 20 things, send to me and I'll swap'em out. The 20 Things can be anything. No theme. But I'm looking for quality work here folks - something that can be tucked away in a collection, brought out 4 or 10 or 20 years later and still cause a little heart whirr. Would anyone be interested in doing such a thing? (yes. there are two many "things" in this paragraph. sue me!) Comment here if you are!
Oh! And a question. Does anyone know how to create 'craquelure' using acrylic/water-based products?
