John got a new job yesterday! This is a Good Thing, since his previous employer was having all sorts of shake ups, and being owned by a foreign company (in France, after being sold by one in Germany), the top owners don't much care what happens over here. Or so it seems. They have quarterly layoffs, then hire other people, then lay them off. Quotas

Did you ever get my e-mail with contact info for when you're here? I've had indifferent luck sending e-mail to LJ addresses, so when I don't get a response I always wonder if it just... disappeared into the ether.

Also, I might be interested in talking to you about designing a website for my jewelry business. Russ can code HTML, but he doesn't have the feel for the artistic design that I think a site like this will need. If I could get the initial design work done, we can set it up and maintain it on this end.
