When I'm this sick and headachey from congestion (it's so bad that my *teeth* hurt), it's perfectly acceptable to keep the electric kettle on an end table next to the couch (rather than in the kitchen) for easy tea-making and take multiple hot showers in an attempt to steam my sinuses clear, right? It's a no-go on the job after all. It didn't feel right anyway. So I met with temp agency #2 today, and the temp placement person asked if I minded meeting with the temp-to-hire placement person. Yeah, sure, no problem. The company has a temp in the job right now that they want to replace with me, but they seem to be having problems with HR. What the hell am I going to do when the show is done filming? No more Kane shows will mean no more drinking too much on Sunday nights and stealing the barware! I'm up to four glasses now.
