Holi is a holiday celebrated in Northern India to welcome spring. It is basically the coolest and most fun holiday EVER. It sounds like you are having the most amazing time ever over there! I wouldn't be in any rush to come back either, if I were you. Things in Carlisle are stressful mainly because of my thesis and certain other situations which you kind of know about. Becki and I went down to Baltimore last weekend to see Jo, Gio and Hayley which was really fun. Are you still planning on coming to graduation? I would LOVE to see you (and see pictures of your trip??) I'll be in Carlizzle all summer... I heard you might be in TN for a while? I'm going to Bonnaroo in June so I'll be headed down there as well. Enjoy every moment that you're over there (I'm sure you already are) and keep writing down those experiences.

Yes, the flowers have just barely started to bloom.

wow meaghan! I'm so jealous that you got to experience Holi and an all night drama. the match making tour also sounds so eye-opening. I recently saw this incredibly moving documentary called the charcoal people about these poor people in Brazil who can only earn a living by chopping down the amazon and burning it into charcoal to make pig-iron for American automobiles. You get to go to Kodai for the last few day!!!I always wanted to go there b/c everyone raves about it but we ran out of time.

I can't believe your dad is flying over to travel with you! that sounds like so much fun. Are pictures up on line? could you send me the link?
love, Audrey
