Ed Bernero is the Executive Producer and Showrunner on the TV show, Criminal Minds.

For those of you who would like to actively support people in the show industry who speak up against those who would support a child rapist? Here's a starting point.

Wow. I already watch Criminal Minds, but if I didn't, I'd have to start.

It's been fairly heartening to see how many people have been coming forward to say "These elitist twits do not represent us" in regards to the Polanski matter. Doesn't quite get rid of the "What the fucking fuck?" that came with the revelation that anyone could want him given a free pass for child rape just because he's made some good movies, but it helps.

It delights me that he spoke up - but really doesn't suprise me given the long-running theme on that show of exactly how far-reaching and long-running that damage can be.

(Not that people can't live wonderful lives after, and all: but we're talking about a show that's pretty merciless in showing the consequences of painful experiences and not just glossing over them after the episode they occur in or the next one.)
