I voted for the only one I've read. I know I liked it, although I can't remember much about it. I think that maybe there wasn't much to remember. Not in a bad way. It's just one of these kind of quiet books about a moment.
My comments on the others (because I am the great authority on books I haven't read):
My mum was reading We Need to Talk About Kevin while I was at home on placement and I don't think she was overly impressed, but on the other hand, it is one of the books that everyone seems to be reading just now, which is likely to make my mum (and me) cynical, but probably actually means it's good.
I read White Teeth by Zadie Smith and it was ok... wouldn't go further than saying ok.
I pick up A Short History every time I am in a bookshop because I think it has a fantastic title, but am never sure if it'll be worth investing in. So maybe you shoud read that one so you can tell me if it's good...
