huh. I just noticed that one one side of the bottle, the plastic is formed into a weird lacing shape... and the rest of the bottle is just bumpy. So I guess it was designed to resemble a football... a clear football that is full of soda with a cap on one end and a 5 flattened bumps on the other end. It's not going to fool anyone to thinking that it should be picked up and run for a first down nor thrown to a person who is 'open", but perhaps people who greatly identify themselves as fans of the sport feel obligated to buy the bottle shaped sort of like a 'pig skin'...

They should make a bottle shaped like a shuttle cock.
