We're so used to patterns, cycles, that we'll subject ourselves to pain and suffering over and over again, just because it's familiar.

it's very easy to blame people. oh my god, it's easy. I'll just blame you for this, and then not take any responsibility for myself or my feelings. I do not want my kids or my friends, or my family to think blaming is the way to go.
