Hey sweetie, it does sound like your headed in the right direction. It also sounds like some of the things we went through with our daughter not too long ago, though thankfully things weren't broken too often. By all means resist medication for while that does have its time and place this doesn't sound like it. Point out the excellent responses from teacher (or just relate them when you meet the counselor) and I'm sure they will be able to help you. If they try to get you to pill pop her find a new counselor to go to and keep looking until you find one smart enough that you all can be comfortable with.
Take care and tell V I send a belated happy b-day, I would think I could remember his if not anyone else's in this world. ;)

thanks. i am not for the medication bit... i was telling someone yesterday how deeply it annoys me that folks use medication as a way to dope their kids up so that they do not have to deal with them. my only concern is that my young miss has inherited one of my family's disorders... most of my moms family suffers from bi polar disorder (the rapid cycle sort), and although it usually does not show up until your what, 17-25, my daughter does swing from up to down severely and quickly and it worries me enough to talk to the good doc about it. i think i am just paranoid though.... anyway i did wish the mr a happy b-day and his reaction mirrored yours... i was amused... hehehe... saggitarians.... geez....
