My good friend Vanessa's brother and sister-in-law had a little girl last night! They called her Julia. Even though she's not on LJ, I just wanted to post and say CONGRATULATIONS! Nieces are the best kind of relative; I say that as one four times over (well eight, technically)!

My aunt used to say she loved her nieces to pieces. Then she had two sons and turned into this self-obssessed whiney bitch. Or maybe she always was and I just liked her better then because she bought ice-magic and ice cream and had a pool.
