This morning I woke up to discover that the hangover fairy had mistakenly bestowed the consequences of someone else's night upon me. Alternatively, I woke up to discover that some kind of vomitous parasite had taken up residence in my digestive system. Either way, I awoke a very ill girly. At least I wasn't working today.

In other news, I have found the world's most kick-ass resource for people trying to research Allied country newspaper responses to the bombing of Hiroshima. Or indeed newspaper articles from any date in the past 100 or so years. Oh yeah, I've found THE MOTHERSHIP for history majors.

It is unhealthy that I like this song so much ...right?

Because I like it an awful lot...oh dear, I'm going to need a music intervention (as opposed to a musical intervention, during which there would be singing and dancing which would probably render the intervention processes redundant..much like in that episode of Arrested Development).

Today was a very ying/yang day. It started out with an excuse for me to drive a long distance (good) to practice for my upcoming exam (bad), which led to shopping and a pretty new pair of shoes (good) followed by an unfounded parking ticket (bad).
