what's up with that yaris only getting 29/36mpg? for such a small car (super cute for sure) and only 104hp, I'd think it would be at least 40mpg highway. i say don't bother with the car yet, just get a bike. :) gas is too expensive. :(

I've read several places that the manual transmission gets 40 mpg highway. I'm only really buying the first two of these things, maybe not those exact ones. did you see that vespa, that's not just a stock photo, that sweet baby is for sale on ksl.com.

I know, I was just doing a little (rare) consumer dreaming. I will not, in reality, make any large or impulsive purchases.

As for the bikes, no, unfortunately I don't live in flatland - I just really, really want a cruiser-style bike and not so much a road bike. Both of those models actually have 3 gears - the Raleigh has an automatic shifter and the Bianchi comes in a 3 gear and 8 gear.

I love Vespas too, especially vintage ones in that style :)

I was just looking at people's "home decor," I guess, on flickr this morning and got inspired to make my apartment look a lot cooler! I don't have anything hanging on my walls but have various things lying around that would spruce the place up a bit.
