Change of plans, we ended up waking up late again. So we ended up going up to Zion Canyon and took another hike. It is one thing to see the mountains from a car driving 70 miles and hour, it is another to actuallty take your time and walk up to the mountain to take it all in. Simply amazing. We finally hit and exceeded the one thousand mile mark. We have now traveled around one thousand and three hundred miles. I have never driven so far in my life. That was the case the first five hundred miles. Nothing too exciting today. Just drove some more. We are currently staying in Abbey Inn. Thank goodness most of the motels out there ( Read more... )

So, Day two of the journey was not recorded due to the lack of stable internet connection in Best Western. Thus nothing really happened, at least nothing woth noting. Today we drove another 500 miles to total around 900 miles. I have to say, my butt is beginning to feel it, or rather not feel it. I am all for sitting all day and enjoy scenery ( Read more... )

Smeg, was it windy today. We drove right into a storm. As exciting as that may sound, it was quite scary. My car would hydro-plain from the left side of the road to the right. Things became worse when I couldn't see whether the car in front of me belonged to my parents or not ( Read more... )
