haha - that's the type of thing that happens when you take a flash photo in a humid or dusty place - the flash reflects off of particles that are floating in the air, close to the lens (so much bigger than they should appear, and out of focus)

The humidity was off the carts that day, too. We took the tour around 9 or 10 ish and temperature was still in the mid 80's.
