I have the flu now, but other than that, I feel pretty good. It's about time for me to start getting the ball rolling for details of the wedding. Things I need to do
( Read more... )
Well, I have no idea how to plan a wedding...but I just wanted to say that I really, really liked the styles of wedding dresses that you posted in the past & think that would be great on you! :)
Also, if you'd like, I can send you out a couple of the more recent issues of the Philadelphia Weddings & Boston Weddings magazines. They have some neat ideas in them (particularly the Boston issues). Mmmmm...the cakes!!
-Think about food. Buffet or sit-down? Open bar, semi-open bar, dry? Find a cake person. If you lived closer to me, I'd send you to the woman who did our cake.
-If you're going to have lots of people arriving from out-of-town, consider reserving blocks of rooms at local hotels
-Flowers
-Favors
-2 things that will help a lot: 1.) do NOT do bachelor and bachelorette parties the day before the wedding. For those of you that have already been through this, is there anything I am forgetting?
Yep dont get caught up with the small stuff and catyness that happens with bridesmaids....and Really DOnt forget to ENJOY IT, becuase if you aint, save the money, run of with the boy and elope on a nice beach on sunset ;) = save money also.
I'm lucky. I have am awesome group of bridesmaids. :-)
Brian and I already made a pact that this is going to be fun and enjoyable. There isn't any point in doing this if we can't have fun and enjoy ourselves in the process. I'm glad you made that point though because it's super easy to get caught up in all the craziness.
to be honest, 1 of the best days of our lives....the days leading up to it, the ACTUAL DAY, and the honey moon. I can remember it like it was yesterday..and it was LOTS of years ago.
Im sure you will look stunning and the day will be wonderful.
