Mean girls:: Loved it...I dont think I'd apply to this community if I didnt. It was hilarious, witty, and more than just the typical teen movie =)
Hilary Duff:: urgh. I can't stand her. She was cute in Lizzie McGuire, but she has no acting range. The reason why she can do Lizzie is because she IS Lizzie. Now she's become an over-marketed tweeny-bopper idol and her nice-girl act seems very fake. Her singing also annoys me, because she doesn't have any more talent than the average girl. I've listened to her whole CD, and it is full of generic pop-fluff and her vocal range is really weak.
Avril Lavigne:: I like some of her music. Is she really trying to act all punk? I think she's definitely different, but people always complain about her wanna-be punk act...and I don't think I've ever actually heard her say that she IS punk. Maybe she has, and I've never heard it. I like her music for whatever it is...
ashlee simpson:: Eh, I think she's way different from her sister and that they are both amazing. I like Jessica's style more though. Ashlee has an edgy look which is pretty cool though =)
Britney Spears:: I've never found her singing or style particularly attractive. She's beautiful, but her style has been bordering on porn lately. She really is a wild super-star type, I suppose.
Paris Hilton:: She's really skinny? And I guess she's smart too considering how successful The SImple Life was...I think I'd be more impressed with her if she went out and really did something with her life rather than just living off of Daddy's money.
The movie mean girls:: wasn't there already a question about this? I liked the movie, alot. It was really witty, funny, amusing, and snazzy.
Ghosts:: i claim to not believe in them, but i still get spooked easily.
UFOs:: I kinda believe they exist, it seems totally possible. I don’t believe in UFO abductions or aliens slowly taking over the world or anything though!

Which character do you consider yourself most like from Mean girls and why:: Oddly I don’t think I’m much like any of the characters in the movie, maybe sort of like Cady because I moved from NC to CA my freshman year of high school. It took almost a year to find where I really fit, and even now I still hang out with lots of different people…

What does your lj name mean:: hmmm, I read a book back in middle school and it was called star girl (by Jerry Spinelli) and I really liked the book, so that was what I used for my first AIM sn. Then it kinda evolved into chicklie because one of my friends nicknamed me chicklet/chicklie
role model:: ooh this is a hard one. Eleanor Roosevelt was pretty amazing she’s done sooo much. For a modern-day hero I guess Hilary Clinton is pretty impressive as well.
the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you:: oh man…too many things to name!! But once back in sophomore year I was running for ASB office and someone said I hadta vote for myself if I wanted other people to, but I never vote for myself b/c it seems kinda weird/wrong. So I had been talking to my friend Daniel online about how I refused to do so. Then the next day in lit class we were having a discussion and then I said something about how like the character in the book, I can be relatively indecisive. Then Daniel shouted out “well, you were pretty decisive last night!” and everyone in the class was cracking up because Daniel is mormon!!
