Effects: Panic, inability to breathe, and feeling helpless
Frame of Reference: Since I'm a visual person, here's
a video of what the Seven Swells described in the dream looks like. (You only need to watch the first few seconds~)
A strong burst of light bursts from the ground and shoots straight up into the skies, parting the clouds. At first, the light is just one straight beam, but then it begins to spread out in rings of all the colors of the rainbow.
And then, suddenly, everything's gone white. When everything begins to settle, Ray finds herself trapped underwater. She struggles to resurface, but she's not sure anymore there is a surface. All she knows is, she can't breathe. And there's a pain in her abdomen. A searing pain...
Everything feels dark. And just when she is about to give up all hope, the darkness begins to slowly part. She can make out very muffled voices and bits and pieces of the conversation.
"Barren... probably never... children... Seven Swells..."
A white light is spreading around her, similar to the light that began this whole dream. Except this time, she feels comforted. A hand - a hand with a silver ring on the ring finger - is reaching out to her. And the last thing Ray feels before she wakes is the hand grabbing firmly onto her own.
----------------------------
Ray's eyes open, but she makes no move out of bed. She reaches a hand up to shield her eyes for a moment, waiting for her breath to steady again. It's only then that she realizes that she'd been sobbing a little in her sleep.
She hasn't noticed yet the Dreamberry sitting next to her bed.
