3. Susceptibility of one’s emotions to incitement; results in severe emotional mood swings.
“What’s up with the face, honey? You don’t look like you’re happy to see your wonderful, beautiful hyung!” Heechul beamed, clearly up to something, as he plopped himself on the recliner to Yunho’s right. “I’m sure you didn’t greet our lovely Yunho that way?”
“What…did you…say?” Jaejoong was visibly restraining himself, all calmness dissipated from his person at the obviously purposely used nickname.
“Oh, dear,” Boa sighed, returning to the living room of the suite. “Heechul, what are you up to?”
“Whatever makes you ask me that, my fellow Queen? I’m just asking if Jaejoong greets our absolutely desirable Yunho that way.”
“Heechul!” Jaejoong roared, livid at being ignored.
“Joonige, babe, calm down,” Yunho tried, almost succeeding, before another chime sounded.
‘PianoManwithExtraGrease wants to join the Video Conference…’
‘DuckButtedSqueakingDolphin wants to join the Video Conference…’
Yunho quickly recognized Changmin’s nicknames for Yoochun and Junsu, figured that he needed help in calming Jaejoong down, and instantly accepted the invitations.

“Yo, SM peeps, what’s up?” Yoochun greeted, looking-
“-absolutely ridiculous in that pink hat,” Changmin muttered, earning Junsu’s signature laugh, and taking the empty seat next to Yunho on the couch as he munched on his plate of food. “What is that? By the way, Junsu you better get better at Starcraft II, Kyuhyun and I are gonna be waaaay past your skill level.”
Yunho laughed as the youngest shortly squabbled with the other two as their unique form of greeting.
“So…what’s the situation?” Yoochun asked. “I can sense distress with our lead singer.”
“Yeah, you could hear him shout from all rooms in here,” Junsu confirmed.
Yunho said nothing but gestured to Heechul, who waved to them in turn.
“Ah,” Yoochun said. “Okay, apparently Jae-hyung’s overreacting has meaning behind it.”
Junsu nodded in agreement.
“Yah! What’s that supposed to mean? Is it wrong to protect Yunho from the clutches of evil?”
4. Escalating emotions of possessiveness that may be confused with temporary insanity.
There was a short silence where people processed what Jaejoong just said, decided whether they wanted to laugh or not, stifle the oncoming laughter, or calm themselves down. All the while, Heechul looked completely unaffected.
“Well, they do say that absence makes the heart grow fonder,” Yoochun commented, shrugging nonchalantly once everyone recovered.
“But apparently, it also makes the mind go crazy,” Changmin muttered, munching on a bowl of kimchi jigae; when he got it, no one could remember.
“What was that Changmin?!” Jaejoong hollered.
“I was thinking that Yunho-hyung’s going crazy for your kimchi jigae ‘cause this tastes nothing like it,” the maknae replied off-handedly, resting his back on Yunho’s side. “Don’t bother me, I’m eating.”
“Changmin…”
“He’s right though, Jae,” Yunho said, slightly pouting for added effect. “I do miss your kimchi jigae. But I miss seeing you cook it too.”
“Aww, Yun…” said Jaejoong, all rage once again gone from his being. “Don’t worry, I’ll make you a lot and make sure Changmin doesn’t get any.”
“YAH!”
“Oh great-” Yunho sighed.
“YOU DON’T DESERVE IT!! You steal Yun-ah’s food all the time!”
“I do not!”
“And you steal his attention from me!” (“Ooh…this is getting interesting,” Yoochun commented, making himself comfortable.)
“You can’t have all of his attention!” (“Don’t encourage it, Chunnie, you might make it worse,” Junsu replied, but still laughing at the Soulfighter banter.)
“You might be the favorite dongseang, but I’m the ONE AND ONLY BOYFRIEND. I outrank you!”
“So you’re gonna STARVE me?!”
“Guys!” Yunho interjected, not wanting it to get out of control.
Both Changmin and Jaejoong stopped immediately, looking at their leader. There was a reason those two were Soulfighters: Changmin, from the start, looked up to Yunho as an older brother. He may be the TVXQ maknae, but he was Yunho’s dongseang. Jaejoong knew of the brotherly admiration the youngest held for the leader, but that never stopped him from fighting with the younger for Yunho’s attention. Maturity was always thrown out the window when it came down to it.
“Thank you,” sighed Yunho, ignoring their resident grease-ball. (“Aww hyung, it was just getting good!” Yoochun complained.)
“Ooooh, controlling, I like it,” Heechul commented, earning groans of frustration from the other SM artists, yet pretending he heard nothing.
“Heechul-hyung has no fear at all,” Donghae muttered, burrowing himself under the cushions he had made into a fort-like structure by Yunho’s feet.
“Besides,” Heechul continued. “It’s not Changmin you have to worry about right now.”
“What are you talking about?” Jaejoong muttered darkly.
“Yunho’s an attractive man, Jaejoongie,” Heechul commented, ignoring the other man’s growl. “Pretty things flock around him. Take me, for example.”
“Chul!” Leeteuk exclaimed, exasperated. “What are you up to?”
“Why does everybody always think I’m up to something? Can’t I tell Jaejoong that my lookalike is taking after me quite well? I’m sure he’d absolutely love to hear that!”
“Heechul-hyung,” Yunho muttered. “What, pray tell, are you talking about?”
“Are you that forgetful?” Heechol replied, completely turning away from the fuming man on the screen. “I’m talking about Taemin!”
A strangled yelp was barely heard, but was ignored in favor of Jaejoong’s “WHAT?!”
“Didn’t you know, Jae?” asked Heechul, spinning back to face the screen. “Taemin asked his Yunho-hyung to help him with the ‘snake’ dance of Lucifer. It is Yun’s trademark, after all.”
“That’s why it looked familiar!” Yoochun commented, despite Jaejoong visibly losing his composure. (“Yoochun-hyung, you continue to amaze me with your powers of observation,” Changmin sarcastically commented, shifting into a more reclined position whilst still leaning on Yunho.)
“Oh, that was such a good idea,” Heechul sighed, once again pretending not to hear Taemin’s protest (“Hyung! Don’t bring me into this!”). “Maybe I should follow his lead.”
The comment put everyone on high alert. Changmin even subconsciously shifted to slightly cover Yunho from the older male’s line of vision. The noble effort was in vain though, as Heechul quickly made his way to the armrest on Yunho’s other side.
“Let’s see…” he muttered loudly enough for everyone to hear. “Maybe I should invite Yunho to perform at my next solo.”
Everyone glanced at Jaejoong, who was now visibly infuriated, before shifting their attention back to the other male as Heechul began to inch closer to Yunho. The taller dancer, on the other hand, tried to put as much distance between them, but was of course hindered by the couch.
“Heechul!” Jaejoong shouted, standing up. “Don’t you DARE!!”
“Just once,” Heechul whined, not looking at the screen, inching even closer to Yunho, who was now wincing and turning his face away. “I’m sure the fans will-AGH!!”
