If you can't figure anything out, Divadoll started a pet community at pet_connection (do'nt know how to make community links on LJ), and even though there aren't that many people on it yet maybe for future reference?

I have not heard of a cat with separation anxiety... but I feel guilty for it!

Seperation anxiety.

Kitties get it to. Pay lots of attention to Meatball Kitty when you can. And try leaving throughout the day for shorter periods of time, so that Meatball will learn that you will be coming back.
