It's San Diego restaurant week starting Sunday. Some friends from work and I want to go sample some delicious wares, but there are so many choices I don't know where to start. Do any San Diego people recommend any of these?

$20 menu -
- Cafe Coyote - generic old towne food. Not bad, but not that great. - Casa de Pico - haven't been since they moved to Grossmont, but they were one of my favs in old town - Phil's BBQ - haven't been to the new location, but the food is delicious. Best ribs made by someone other than my step-dad that I've had.
$30 menu -
Chart House - my dad always takes me here when he visits. Food is delicious, although crazy expensive. Tempting at restaurant week prices. Kemo Sabe - I liked it the time I went for my bday about 5 years ago. The roasted nut crusted fried brie is amazingly good. Rainwater's on Ketner - not worth the price, in my opinion. Was taken here by the Partner at a firm I interned at, and meh. Thee Bungalow - haven't been here, but have been to the owner's other restaurant and it was really good. Zocalo - I've been for brunch, and it was tasty.
Haven't been to anything on the $40 list, but my former co-worker went to Nine-Ten last restaurant week and really liked it.

yeah, phil's is freaking delicious... will probably try to go for a place I haven't been yet. I've had Nine-Ten breakfasts before and they were also really good. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check out the menus for those places.
Ed and I went to Prado a couple of times for Special Dinners. It's very nice. I think I've also been to Chart House - I remember a wonderful ocean view. Casa Guadalajara was touristy and not all that impressive.
Oh, also, they have both A. R. Valentien and The Grill which are inside of the Lodge at Torrey Pines. We stayed there while we were getting married and ate at both of those restaurants...definitely enjoyable. I think it'd be worth it just to hang out in the hotel for awhile. Of course, I was getting married at the time so maybe it has an unfair advantage in my memories.
Hey linds, this is totally not connected to your post. Can you tell me a good email address for you? I am working on a graphic project and could use your advice/help.
