Just seems weird that someone who doesn't give a flying fuck about their pet would take such a lovely portrait of it, but maybe that was taken the first day home or something.

From her MySpace entry, it sounds like her friend was the one who was taking the pictures of the bun, right after they bought "her".

I hope you get her! I know she'd be spoiled rotten with you... and come on, what's one more bun? ;)

If I could be guaranteed that Meat would accept the new bun & the new bun came pre-speutered, then it *may* be do-able... but our house is so tiny & full of critters already that the only way I could make room for another rabbit is to cut Meat's cage in half & build a separate cage for the newcomer right next to Meat's digs. Sure, those cages would still be significantly larger than most rabbits have, but I'd feel bad cutting back on Meat's space like that... and this is assuming that they could live right next to each other w/o ripping big chunks of flesh off through the bars. :(

No, it's not your fault. I'm actually a member of the comm, anyway (though I haven't read it in a long time, it's possible that I could have been drawn to the bunniness of it). Also, Squeezums said that he was planning on telling me about it (though he was thinking that I'd lecture the girl on responsible bun ownership, rather than wanting to adopt the bunny myself ;} ).

Don't sweat it. It's not your fault that people suck ass. :(
