Anakin's fall was given plenty of time to pulsate and breathe. I think you're reaction comes from the fact that the main motive (Padme and Anakin's relationship) wasn't played out well. If they had even nailed just ONE scene with the two of them (hell, they could have just played it all out in silence...the dialogue was more distracting and felt contrived). All in all though, the internal battle was there, we saw it on screen but Lucas' camera told is it wasn't that important. Hence, your reaction. ;)

Like my instructor would say: "Where's the conflict? I can see it in his eyes but your camera is telling me to look at something else."

Well, I'm no movie critic... hehehe.

I just think that George could have done BETTER. :)

True. But then movies could always be better. I'm no critic mate. I don't take the shit onscreen out of context to relate it to politics and obscure philosophies. ;) I speak the language, I know what he was trying to do....at least I THINK I do. :D

What if the democracy we thought we were serving no longer exists, and the Republic has become the very evil we have been fighting to destroy?

Hah. Sounds like the people running this country. And with this, I mean here, where I am right now. The country whose flag is on my work uniform's right sleeve.

Question is, which one's the Dark Side? The Democrats or The Republicans?

Is it both? Hmmmm...
