So, in three visits I will have paid for my own medium-duty cross-cut shredder, unless I want to figure out how to meet them somewhere. Hell, I can't even figure out how to meet friends for lunch. Although I picked one out with a good reputation, we just don't seem to ever actually get the shredder purchased...

You know I have considered the shredder option also but that means: a place to put said shredder, managing not to break shredder, maintianing shredder, taking the shredded crap myself to be recycled, picking through all those nasty things that become attached to documents to shred - paper clips, spiral bindings, check book bindings etc PLUS actually sitting down and shredding the shit- I'll pass

I have to worry about NONE of that doing it this way and I figure if I can get myself on a reasonable schedule after the initial clean up, I can bring a box or two of crap with me to work once a quarter and have it all taken care of! YAY PLUS its an excuse to LEAVE my office - for me it is an excellent solution!! Hell, I figured even if I paid the $50 and had them come to my house I would be WAY ahead of the game

I guess you have more disposable income than we do.

I don't think its a matter of More disposable income - I think its a choice on where it's spent - For example you are hunting down peices for a Rolling Ball Scupture while I am having old cehck books shredded.

Also time is money and opportunity and I do consider things that save me considerable time worthwhile.
