Why can't *I* make pretty costumes?

So I'm ruminating on the possibility of going to DragonCon next year, and I'd like to make a Rennaisance/Tudor costume. I've been looking at patterns, and Simplicity has a couple of good ones that are actually somewhat historically accurate. But alas ( Read more... )

I was good, all a nod in agreement ...until you got to the 24 hr snack shop...then I had to admit I wasn't *that* good a seamstress ;)
Anything can be altered, I swear.

She used to do theater costumes too and until she gets re-settled and her business back up and running, your outfit may be a nice distraction for her! She's a wee woman, but is strangely jealous of more shapelier women like us. Always amuses me :-)
