yeah. poor george. how would you feel if someone wouldn't give up a dog (which she didn't have when you moved in with her) so that you wouldn't move out. especially if you had to work with the person everyday. plus, patrick dempsey like convinced meredith to get the dog or something, so it's sort of like maintaining their "special connection" through the dog. or something.

george just really dislikes the dog. but so does izzy. it's just a terrible, barking, peeing, chewing dog. and it's a tv show.
