While I’ve been quite productive with my dissertation in recent months, I’m so tired of doing nothing but school and work stuff. I’m tired of being a fandom consumer without producing anything creative of my own. It’s been over a month since my last tiny one-shot and something like NINE MONTHS since my last plotty multipart story

I was just thinking last night about how much I love AUs. I really can't find a rhyme or reason for it but when it's done WELL, there are just so many things to like! You'd do it really, really well. I know it. Therefore, that totally pinged my interest.

I LOVE (well-written) AUs! I will forever defend AUs against haters. People who don't like AUs just haven't read enough good ones. Fact.

(Bonus fact: every single fanfic is an AU to some degree.)
