SUMMARY: After hearing the news about his masters, Keigo waits for Axl to come and pick him up.
He had actually lost track of how long he had been sitting there, at that border, watching and waiting for his masters to make good on their promise to him.
A part of him might have entertained the thought that they had forgotten about him, or that they might have lied, but the second those thoughts came into his head, his innate trust in the ones who gave him life won out and he would sit obediently, bored and lonely for weeks and weeks.
But, then he heard the news from a Hunter.
His house, the house he was born in, was the target of a Maverick Riot. Keigo wasn't exactly sure what that meant, but he knew one thing: it was reason for him to move from his spot. His masters had been endangered, and if a Hunter was the one telling him such, he couldn't disobey. It was a loophole in his programming, one he was secretly happy for.
He just hoped that his masters weren't actually... dead. He refused to believe that was true. It would take some hard evidence for him to believe otherwise.
He sighed and tilted his head back against the large concrete border between Eleso and Liberty. He preferred sitting on the Liberty side, for some reason. Maybe because there were less prying eyes to make him feel self-conscious. Whatever the case, that was where he was waiting for Axl, hoping that the Hunter would appear soon and tell him all the details.
