[ooc: As promised! This is the alternative way for characters to get rid of their slugs. The Deities are showering the City with special cupcakes on Thursday morning. The smell of these cupcakes will draw out any remaining slugs from their host bodies, then the slugs can be stepped on or thrown into a cup of salt or whatever you'd like to be killed! As for the cupcakes themselves, characters are free to eat them...just keep in mind all the cupcakes, no matter how delicious they look, taste like earwax. They were made for the slugs after all, not for the citizens, fff. And yes those are copies of Penny's inspirational letter posted all over the City.
At 11:59pm EST on Thursday, the ocean tide will rise particularly high to create a wave that'll wash over the slug dig site. This won't cover up the alien ship completely but the saltwater will help eradicate any slugs leftover there. From then on, the alien ship sticking out of the foot of the mountain will be a permanent fixture of the City landscape, a place characters can explore.
