I've always just sanitized nail clippers and clipped off my skin tags, they hurt and get a tiny bit bloody, but I don't feel like paying someone to do such a simple thing.
I don't think I have the same thing you do, but I've always had really waxy ears. I usually just q-tip 'em with the cotton having been dipped into hot water.
That's a good idea. I can never figure out a good way to clean my ears, cus' really, how do you get in there? I think I'm going to try and flush them out like the doctor said to do. Now that I find out pouring peroxide in your ears is okay, I am sure pigs will begin flying and Cat bus will take me away to a frozen hell.
I have a big row of skin tags in my underarm area that I had snipped off and cauterized at a doctor's office once. They grew right back and I never did anything else with them.
Although they do get tangled in my hair every once in a while (my hair's very long and this is not as odd as it sounds) and one actually got so badly tied up that it just got pulled right off. Hurt like a bitch.
Really, they grew back? My mom told me last night that she will take a Vitamin E pill, cut in half and pour that on them. She said that they scab over and fall off. She's generally right about that stuff, so I might try that if it comes back.
Actually, one of the reasons I knew I wanted to get it removed is because in the shower one of my hairs somehow got wrapped around it, and getting it off it pulled at it and hurt like hell. I've heard it doesn't take much at all for them to come off.

Oh god it hurt, but the worst was the smell.
Now I just pretend that I don't have any.
