Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes and his partner Sean Eldridge will donate $10 for every person who 'likes' the Equality North Carolina Facebook page. Help the fight against the proposed anti-gay constitutional amendment that would same-sex marriage, civil unions and domestic partner benefits.

I really need to get my reading glasses. I read that first line as "Facebook co-founder Chris hugs his partner Sean Eldridge and will donate..."

This sort of thing and photos of my niece and nephew are pretty much the only reason I have a Facebook these days. :3

Isn't it, though? Marc Mutty goes to my church and I alternately want to hit him or hug him. I definitely want to hug Jesse. He worked so hard... Two straight men, so different.

You are a busy person. It passed in the House, and has moved on to the Senate. If it passes the Senate it will go before voters. Hopefully it won't get to that...

Urgh. Things are getting better, but there is still a ways to go.

ETA: whoops, the article changed... it did pass in the Senate... you get to vote on it in May.
