it was such a non-issue. though, the last time they did this the margin was a lot bigger- 7 out of 10? i forget. taking away rights, what an American thing to do.

Agreed. It just leaves me with such mixed feelings about yesterday/this morning. I had wondered a few weeks ago if it was best to just let the cards fall if for no other reason than to take it back to the CA Supreme Court, and possibly onto a Federal level. Only because if the "yes" folks failed this time, they'd just be back again. I just don't know enough about the procedural stuff to make a judgment/gamble based on that.

It just would have felt better to take that away from the wingnut contingent at the same time.
