I imagine you feel much like I would if Diana Rigg or Patrick Macnee passed away just now.
The Prisoner has always intrigued me, but never captured my attention like it did for you (and other nameless types). But frankly, I suspect that is was because it was much too smart for me.
Is Danger Man/Secret Agent available on DVD? I think I might get it in line with Netflix very soon...
Well, that voice has an indelible imprint on my brain. Pleasant sleep to Patrick.
I doubt it was too smart for you. I suspect that it was because it lacked any sort of emotional engagement you and I both like in most of our shows.
Yes, DM/SA was fairly recently released in one of those slim megabox sets (see my e-mail to you earlier). I'll follow up, have to tell you which disc to start with (there is virtually no continuity or arc from show-to-show).
I "go there" in a cryptic way, to throw off the scent! (Or stank) LOL
Mmm. I think you're right (and not just cause I choose to see it as a compliment) - but watching TP once was enuf for me, I found it interesting and appreciated the metaphors and philosophical existential such and such, but I never felt the need to go back because I didn't *care* enuf for the character. In other words, no "emotional engangement". It was all too dryly cerebral for more than a "visit". But, I certainly see how it could attract others...
Yeah, give me a tip on DM/SA. I'm a little confused as to what came first. I believe it got picked up by US or something or did they just change the name when it was imported? Guess I could just Wiki it and find out!

BWAH-HA HAHAHAHA!
Oh, you didn't go *there*, did you? You did!
