My parents got an interesting piece of mail today; it lists ten issues that Bush and Kerry disagree on. Trust me when I say that they'll be worth reading:

Defense of Marriage Act - Defines marriage as a union between one man and one woman.
Partial Birth Abortion Act - Ban abortions in which unborn child is

Yeah, if there's a Kerry version, I'd definitely like to see it.

I think banning the morning-after pill is a little extreme.....

It doesn't seem like many Republicans are "for" a whole lot, just against everything that might be seen as controversial. The political ads that run in Tennessee are crazy. Being against partial-birth abortion, gay marriage, driver's licenses for illegal aliens, and the state income tax passes for a political platform around here. Actually, there is one thing that Tennessee republicans are for...guns. One ad that I have seen actually boasts that the candidate is endorsed by the NRA. Is anyone else frightened by the idea of people who hate anything they don't understand walking around with guns?

Wait... how can an illegal alien get a driver's lisence as it is? Woudln't the gig be up when they enter the DMV, but don't have any legal idventification? Or would the no driver's lisence thing be a punishment for coming in illegally, even after you legalize yourself?

And republicans are for war and tax cuts!
