I love your version of why House fired Chase. I hope you are right! I would love to see Chase get the position Foreman turned down. That would serve him right. (I'm not too happy with Foreman right now, can you tell?)

As the others have said, you write their banter well. I liked the way you looped back to the metaphor jab, too.

Thanks. I would really like to see Chase stay on in that position, and I guess for him to keep Cameron on as well (I don't really like her, but figure getting rid of too many of them will mess with the chemistry of the show). I'm glad you enjoyed the banter as well. Thanks for reading and reviewing. It is much appreciated. :)

“Well, I can see past the boyish charm to the manipulative and apparently gay core within.” This line is only one of many fine examples of Houseisms within this story. Good on you. *g* And that was a clever idea for Chase-I wonder if TBTB will do just that? Heck, I wonder how next season's going to work at all-if the fellows all come back it'll be ridiculous to the point of shark-jumping, and if they have to bring in new fellows while working with the old, certain other characters we love who already get neglected (*cough*Wilson*cough*) will be even more neglected. *ponders*

Why thank you. I'm sort of hoping TPTB will do that, and even have Chase bring Cameron onto his team (I really don't care for her, but figure more new people will just mess with the chemistry of the show and add to the neglect you mentioned). Or, I could see them having something happen to House that forces Cuddy to call all the fellows back, but that's getting into shark territory, imo. *Ponders as well* It'll certainly be interesting to see how they write themselves out of this one. Anyways, thanks for reading and reviewing. I'm glad you liked the story. :)

It'll certainly be interesting to see how they write themselves out of this one. Heh. Maybe they'll pull a fast one like Wilson's missing brother, House getting shot, Chase alcoholic mother, etc. and all the fellows will be back next season and it'll just never be mentioned again. *g*

Oh, I like that a lot. I will be very cross if Chase doesn't stay on in some sort of being-House's-number-two position, because he's too good to lose.

I love the way that House and Wilson can go from a heated argument to everything's OK in the blink of an eye. So married! XD

*mems*
