Gratitude (and a little anxiety)

I just wanted to take a moment to give a huge shout out and thank you to everyone for the good wishes and support. 
The weeks of preparing for Step 1 (of the medical licensing exam) proved even more trying than I anticipated with the passing of my beloved dog Caesar almost exactly a month ago. You guys have been so incredibly helpful, from the kind

Strong crossing fingers and I wish you all the luck you want and I think probably you know all the things you have to know and the luck isn´t really needed but hey, it can´t do any damage and I wish you pretty good luck.

Very best of luck with it :) I'll be thinking of you, and crossing everything. Not that you'll need it, but I'll be doing it anyway :) This time in less than 24 hours the whole thing will be behind you, and then hopefully you can RELAX :-)

Omfg only the thought of having to take an exam like that makes me want to run and hide - or leave med school (or both).

Ooh, you took your exams? Awesome. I'm sure you did a great job. I'd be more excited, but the Valium they gave me at the hospital days ago is still making me loopy. I'm sure that if I were sober, this would be in CAPS!HARRY-LIKE SHOUTING, except with glee. *nods*

Now, for a bit of gratification for both of us, I'll be glad to share that 'Disintegration', parts nine A and nine B (because LJ decided that the original was too long *scowls*) are up at my usual places depending on the ship. Enjoy! Or not, as the case may be...
