Isn't it odd how Neville shows up in both these stories? And plays a crucial role in both of them?

I've decided I really like Neville, especially now that the fact of him coming into his own is canon. (I mean I've always really liked the grown up Neville, but more authors seem to be playing with it.) As much as I like Ron and Hermione, I like seeing Harry broaden his friendships once he's out of Hogwarts.

Although, I have to say, I'm not into Neville porn. Neville in a relationship? Great. I'll even take a past Neville/Harry. I just don't want to see the Neville porn. Neville deserves all the sex he can get, I just think I prefer it off screen.

I know exactly what you mean. Although I've considered writing a mature Neville/Percy, because strangely, I think I could make that work. But I tend not to think of him in sexual roles at all, just like I don't think of Albus or Fudge in that way either. It's...a bit squicky.
