Is there anything vital in your character's past that River would know about: Haha...the big thing is that she was forced into killing and torturing her entire family in order to survive (all while additionally being forced to laugh). Then a few years later, she basically became a killing machine for the military. Here's the deets, if you want them.
Is there anything you don't want River to mention: I'm personally fine with anything she might mention, but this girl will freak out if you mention anything about her youth (especially with the whole killing/torturing her family incident).

Is there anything vital in your character's past that River would know about: See details here, but short answer: some people in his world can turn into demons, and they have to consume other demons to avoid going completely berserk; people who do go berserk basically lose all sense of self and just attack and try to eat everything around them. (They're basically like Reavers without the rape part, sob.) A lot of people die, Gale eats a lot of other demons himself due to not wanting to go mad, and there is rampant cannibalism and nastiness in general, including one bit where people are literally being processed into canned food.
