I really enjoyed TDKR too. I think it wasn't the most unpredictable, but it was satisfying in the way that I would want a trilogy to be. And I agree about Gotham. After the film I did get hit by an immense sadness that we may not see Nolan's Gotham again, because it feels so familiar, like a character.

I'm really hoping that there will be a at the very least Nolan produced if not directed Catwoman movie, not only because we'd have a whole movie devoted to Selina Kyle, but we'd also get to see Gotham again and that would be wonderful.

Well, you could have reason to buy the Bane al Ghul story, since Barbara turned into a boy in the last movie. Or, I should say, was ignored in favor of a boy. BARBARA.

If there's a Catwoman movie, I'm assuming it'll be a prequel, because I AM NOT HAVING with breaking Bruce/Selina up. I've been waiting too long for this in a context that doesn't involve prostitution. Of course, a Catwoman with no Batman makes for less fun banter. I mean, she'd still be fucking amazing though. That's a given.

Yeah, that Barbara thing in TDK was weird. I know Nolan didn't want the bat family in his movies (although, clearly he decided to go there in the end), but to go to the extreme of basically denying the existence of Barbara Gordon was odd.

I'd hope it would be a prequel of sorts (set between TDK and TDKR). That way they can have it in Gotham, and they can have a very good reason for Batman not showing up, and cameos by various other characters if they wanted (Commissioner Gordon, The Scarecrow etc). Damn, I really want a Catwoman movie to happen. It'd be so awesome.

That's an ideal setting. And omg more Commissioner Gordon. I so deeply want a Commissioner Gordon spinoff. Gary Oldman, play him forever, PLEASE. Please?
