I have become addicted to Dragon Age: Origins (like three or so years after it was released). I thought I could buy an RPG game and not have it take over my life like Baldur's Gate did when I was a teenager. I was wrong.

I'm still on my first play through, and went with the city elf origin. I've spent so many hours on this play through, it's hard to imagine playing the game six times to try out all the different origins. That'd take forever.

I've heard a lot of criticism about DAII. I'm actually leaning towards my next buy (whenever that is) being the Mass Effect series instead, since, aside from the ending of III (which I'm unspoilt for, I don't know what happened and I don't want to know, I just know a lot of people were disappointed), I've heard nearly universal praise for that series.
