So i am writing this lesson plan for oen of my education classes, and I realize that I am freakishly dominated by recessive alleles

I don't want to burst your bubble, but just because an allele is recessive doesn't mean that it is rare. Sorry! :P

yeah, but if my parents have one dominate allele and one recessive allele of each, then i am rare :-P I know recessive alleles arent nessicarily rare; neither dominate or recessive traits are automatically more common in a population ( which is one of the major points to teach the little 7th graders).
