Strange things.
The people who pop up lately.

--  So yesterday while picking up a couple things from Target, i run into Tia from high school, who i havent seen since then.  Well, actually i think i ran into her at one of those stupid dance clubs the fall of 2001,  at which she was her crazy friendly self.  But yesterday she really had no interest in ( Read more... )

I know moving is so hectic!
and I have been busy too but once you move your stuff you can unpack and relax while your doing so as long as you at least take an hour each day for yourself it helps with stress remember don't work to hard or to much its bad for the mental and phisical strength

I feel the same way about people getting married and having kids...it still weirds me out to call brei and micheal husband and wife, same with my friend jessi (used to be nordstrom, now devries) whenever she's talking to someone else she mentions her husband...god damn...too fucking young!
My mom and I were talking about how weird it is that i'm going to be 24 soon, and that next year i will be 25..and she said "just think, i had you when i was 25"...damn...i couldn't even imagine...
Also, when i was calling people to give out my new cell number i called tia and got the same vibe you did...i don't know what her problem is...she added me as a friend on myspace not too long before that so, maybe she's depressed or something.
anyway...if you feel like it, give me a call after work this weekend, maybe we can get together, even if it's for a little bit! love you!

I also agree with the marriage thing. All of my classmates are married, engaged, or living with a long-term boyfriend (a lot of them are a couple years older, but still...). Makes me feel like I missed out on the whole pair-bonding thing.

You and I need to get together before you left AV. When are you free?

yes, i really would love to, but i still have to pack and clean on my days off here (tues-thurs.) and any free time i have i should be going into work to de-ice for some extra hours/$. =(

but i intend to be much more free after i move.
and only a couple blocks from st. thomas, hopefully that helps?

Agreed; the same thing happened to me more than a years ago...my response: "Perhaps there is a day of running into too many people?...like so many bits & pieces of your life overlapping- it really makes no sense how you got where you are...not nostalgia- I guess, but memory overload, or something?"; I don't know...anyway though- I'm pretty awkward (which can be misconstrued as rude) with the whole post-high-school seeing friends/acquaintances...feeling the need the acknowledge each-other...for me, its the polite phone number/contact exchange & such; I mean, we both know we don't want to have some re-friendship (we barely knew each other then- why start now? Sorry, that sounds bastardly...but friendship is hard enough the first time round), why can't we just part ways pleasantly & be done with it?! That is not to say I'm not quite friendly & really happy to see select individuals who have relatively vanished from my mislaid construct of a 'Life' (i.e.- you & yours ( ... )

exactly what i think most of the time, with the people i didnt talk to in high school but seem so interested in chatting at later encounters.

i was just surprised with this girl Tia cuz she was my best freind for a couple years there, and we just sorta drifted but not on any bad or even awkward ending that i remember.

oh well. really not a big deal.

a big deal would be if The World got us! Thank christ indeed!
