and I'm not exactly too happy about it...

I strongly disagree with you about the whole popularity thing. I got three of my absolute favourites on the same cover, can't really complain about that. Limited, regular, who cares? Gonna get them both anyway. Besides, two of the supposedly "less popular" ones seem to be very popular actually: http://arbeit.oricon.co.jp/53957/full/

P.S. You've any idea how much I hate Chinen now for taking up that spot which should've been Ryutaro's?
As if it was his decision to stand there. I'm sure there's a lot of things one could hate Chinen for, but CD jacket design definitely isn't one of them. Sorry, but this is just like Ya-Ya-yah fans hating JUMP because it was supposedly JUMP's fault that Ya-Ya-yah got killed. Oh please.

Actually, I think otherwise. Your favourites does not mean they're popular.
The 18 year old list doesn't mean they're popular. Among JUMP, the ones pushed more are the ones on the limited edition cover - All of the original HS7 except Daiki (who was the least exposed back in HS7 too - I wonder why?) because that space was replaced with Yabu, who is pretty popular as well. I mean, it IS pretty obvious that in the current HS7, the trio is popular, and in BEST, Takaki, Yabu and Hikaru gets pushed more than Daiki and Inoo...

The Chinen thing... you should know better than anyone else why I hate him. The cover is just adding oil to the fire that has been flaming up.

Just because they are pushed doesn't mean they're popular either. It just shows who Johnny *thinks* is popular, and he might be just as wrong as I am. Or it shows who he *wants* to become popular by pushing them. Whether or not that really works is an entirely different matter. Somebody should do a poll or something.

I understand that. But Chinen didn't provide the oil. I'm not the biggest fan of Chinen either, and have no problem with you hating him if it's for the right reasons which I know you have. But again, jacket design isn't one of them.

I disagree. BECAUSE one is pushed, one is popular. Chinen was in Johnny's for years. Was he popular before his HS7 push? Whoever is pushed is definitely popular at the period of time. Ryosuke gained a whole plethora of fans just from Tantei Gakuen Q (which is really just a mediocre drama). Yuuto had been pushed for years, and Yabu as well. Takaki had been in the spotlight for being the 'sexy' one in JUMP as well, in the past few months. They're all the more popular members currently on JUMP because they're pushed.

That's to wait till the next single to see.
If it's maintained though, I think it won't be Takaki that's not there. Takaki is pretty popular in Japan (He's the only one that can has the *smex* factor in JUMP). It'll probably be Chinen (once his voice breaks and he grows up from his cuteness, some fans will abandon him) or even Yuuto (Ryosuke is currently even more popular than Yuuto).. At least that's what I think

Everywhere I go, people is trying to read into the divisions and position too much
I am not happy either that all ten of them can't be on one cover, but at the end of the day it is still just a cover and non of the HSJ members are to be blamed for this

It's the cover for a LIMITED EDITION and a REGULAR EDITION.
If it's Cover A and Cover B, to hell with it. I don't have a problem. But to proclaim 5 people as superior to the other by making them more expensive, and limited, is just showing that Johnny's is just discriminating the 5 in RE.
None of the members should be blamed for this. If anybody, it's whoever came up with the idea of this split arrangement.

That's horrible... I love the Normal one better!!! [No actually i love both of them... ^^] But i love Inoo, Keito, Hikaru, Daiki, and Ryutaro [they're in the normal ed..... [even i love chinen, yuuto, yabu, and yamada too... 'w' ]

Because it'll be too small...? We all saw how UMP's cover turned out.
If Johnny's mad about anything - they're just mad about the prospect of making more money... And it's how they work - they're a company - they're there to earn money.
