It's still chilly in the northwest. It is currently 26° F outdoors. My cat is lucky enough not to be an outdoor cat. It is currently a chilly 32° F here. The sky is a light gray color. I have been enjoying spending more time indoors. I should be getting more work done. I was tired this week from my trip and visit with family last week. The week-end at work wore me out. I do not like working retail as much during the holiday season. I was please to have a surveillance system with four cameras installed this summer. Two out of the four cameras are wireless. The wireless cameras were placed in the carport. It was rainy and stormy last night and early this morning. The rain beating on my window woke me up temporarily at midnight. Rain usually does not hit the window but the wind was blowing it sideways. Sometimes waking up from weird dreams can be a relief. I had many dreams last night. In one recurring episode, I thought I lived in a run down slum with a forest out the back door. I was able to see the stars and milky way clearly tonight. We did not spend much time outside because it is somewhat chilly. I forgot how amazing the sky looks when there are no city lights around. I will spend more time with my brother and niece tomorrow.

The Postal Service has Monday off. UPS observes the holiday, but does not take the day off. It is a day where I cannot get my mail or go to the bank. I am glad my UPS package will not be delayed.
