The snow looks like confetti right now. I don't think the snow will last long.

It is strange to see snow in Seattle this time of year. There were big fluffy white flakes for a little while this morning. It is too warm here for the snow to stick. Right now there are small hail pellets falling on the ground. They are too small to make noise when they hit the roof or metal awning. I suppose today will be a slow day at work. It is currently 35° F in West Seattle. I went for a short walk a few minutes ago and I kept my hood up to stay warm. It is foggy this morning but it is slowly burning off. I saw yellow crocuses starting to bloom this week. The pansies and primroses came back. I have not needed to mow the lawn yet this year.

I am having sinus trouble this morning. My cold is hanging on and will hopefully go away today. I went to work on Saturday. I had a cough that day. My ankle was more swollen and sore after standing on it all day. I am staying home and resting until I feel better. I have been sneezing a lot. There is snow on the ground this morning. I was able to get my walking shoes on and go for a walk this evening. I walked to the beach and watched the sunset. The fog burned off this afternoon after hours of grayness.

I had a fall on Tues. afternoon which I am recovering from. My right foot and ankle are swollen and bruised. I cannot get my foot into a normal shoe. I am resting and hoping it gets better A.S.A.P. I have been staying home and getting plenty of rest. I look forward to being more mobile soon ( Read more... )
