Suze was not happy. Not to mention still in her pajamas. She frowned as Dr. Cox seemed to still be ranting to someone on the computer. She wondered if he'd ever be done. Her opinion so far was that he had the mental maturity of a three year old over the whole situation. He her opinion it could have been worse for both of them. He could have been ( Read more... )

He rolled his eyes. "Gee, Speed Racer, don't get your panties in a bunch. It's not like you've got anything better to do, you're tied to someone with no sense of compromise."

"A... sweetheart, when we get to the hospital we might wanna get you in the MRI machine. Viruses make your computer shotty, they don't tie you to random people. At least not here in the land of the sane, not that you'd know anything about that." His pager went off and he let out a doglike growl, tugging it off of the waistband of his scrubs bottoms with the tethered hand. He read the message off and sighed, clipping it back on.

"Come on, Princess Pain-in-the-Ass, we're goin' to work."

Suze would have gone on to explain what she actually meant by virus and how DDD tended to redefine them, but she was much more concerned about something else.

"Hospital?" she asked, looking suddenly panicked. "No way. Do you know how many people die in a hospital?"
