I'm just going to ignore the part of the question that forces me to think about who my favorite author is, because AUGH. My actual faves are not in my current fandom so they'd NEVER, but suspending reality for a moment, I'd ask for a long, super-realistic-seeming 1D porn AU. The one where they somehow all end up being gay-for-pay cam-boys and falling in love and pining and having sex in various pairings.

As a second choice, I'd want someone to write a Jonas AU based on the movie Stealing Beauty, where Nick = Liv Tyler's character, and lots of people try to seduce him in a gorgeous villa in Italy. Or New Jersey.

17 - A ship you've abandoned and why - answer

I used to ship Clark Kent/Lois Lane in Superman, and Clark/Chloe on Smallville, and promptly abandoned ship when I was introduced to Clark Kent/Lex Luthor, which was my first slash pairing. While I still love love LOVE to read het fic, there's something just so much more delicious about all of the tension and we-shouldn't-we-really-shouldn't-but-oh-god-we-wanna from slash pairings that just isn't there in most het pairings. And then of course Clark/Lex comes with all of this sweet, good boy/tortured baddie thing that is also really hot, so. The girls didn't really stand a chance!

4 - A pairing you wish you liked but just can't

STEREK! AUGH. My life would be SO MUCH easier if I could get into Teen Wolf fandom, but I just can't! I think Stiles is cute enough, but Derek is wayyyy not my type, and the whole thing just squicks me. I weep over this fact regularly.

ughhh Sterek rules my life. I know a bunch of fandoms that would make my life easier too. So many great writers are into Sherlock, Merlin, avengers, Dr. Who. but I'm with you, If a fandom/pairing doesn't do it for me, I cant force it

11 - How do you feel about the other people in your current fandom

I guess my current fandom is 1D fandom? I guess? Idk, mostly the people I talk to 1D about are the same people I was in my last two fandoms with, so I haven't really branched out all that much. I mean, I know there ARE lots of 1D fandom people, but they are generally young, so I haven't tried to connect to too many others.

From afar though, 1D fandom seems really intense. The benefit to this is that there's lots of fic and pictures and updates. The downside is that the fandom can be really invasive and scary.

I do like, however, how there's been so much discussion of social justice in 1D fandom. There's always good debates about sexuality and labeling and making assumptions and feminism and I quite like all of that stuff.

19 - Show us an example of your personal headcanon

Picking up on something in Nan's post, but here's some Harry/Louis headcanon:

When they met, and early days of their relationship, Harry was massively infatuated and in love love LOVE with Louis. In every sense of the word. And Louis knew it, and ADORED Harry and thoroughly enjoyed how Harry loved him. And maybe they made out and got each other off a few times. But it was giddy and kind of innocent? And Louis didn't really think much about it other than, WOOP. LIFE IS AWESOME.

As things progressed, and they got more and more famous, there was a period where Louis wanted to be around Harry all the time because Harry was getting all of this attention - Harry was the heartthrob, the one people paid the most attention to, and yet Harry's attention was 100% focused on Louis, and Louis loved that. Like, it was very validating for Louis that people liked Harry so much, and that Harry liked him so much. So he encouraged Harry, touching all the time, snuggling him, teasing him. And so Harry's heart-eyes just grew and grew. And
