Plot bunnies - J2 AU
It's kind of ridiculous how many plot bunnies have attacked me this year, and I've written NONE of these fics. So I figured I'd just post them all here, and at least keep track of them. Maybe one day I'll write them up - or in the meantime, maybe someone else will!
1. Shrink!Jensen, Patient!Jared. Jared is confused about, well just about everything since Sandy broke off their engagement. He starts seeing Dr. Jensen, who is helping him talk through his issues about relationships and intimacy. Jared develops a crush on Jensen, and assumes it's a non-sexual "man crush", but after a few particularly vivid dreams and some revealing sessions, he realizes it's the full monty and he's really very gay. He needs to talk about it, to work things out in his head, but the only person he can talk to is Jensen. So he starts talking in code, and they dance around the subject. Eventually their relationship becomes personal, and then something happens and buttsex!
2. TakeHomeChef!Jared, Widower!Jensen. Jared is a charismatic tv chef, flirtatious, successful and generally happy. He meets Jensen in a grocery store and goes to his home to cook a great meal for him and his wife. Turns out Jensen is a single dad, has basically been a loner since his wife died tragically several years ago. Jared keeps cooking for him and his son, and eventually they fall in love and buttsex!
3. Repressed!Jensen, Phonesex-worker!Jared. Jensen is closeted and shy, Jared is young, brash and broke. Jared is a (straight) college student, studying acting at NYU. Jensen is his acting coach: quirky, awkward and gorgeous. Jared develops a sort of man crush on Jensen, and is always looking for ways to get his attention - but Jensen is always professional and aloof. In the course of their class, Jensen's recommendation to his students is to carefully consider their audience's perspective when they speak - try to understand what the listener is hearing and feeling when you speak. Jared takes the phonesex job as a means of making extra money and practicing his craft. (He chooses male/male phonesex because, you know, ACTING.) Jensen (anonymously) calls and they have hot phonesex several times. Jared starts to suspect the identity of his regular caller, and tries tempting Jensen with his newly discovered kinks to draw him out. Eventually this works, and buttsex!
4. Dockrat!Jared, Can'tswim!Jensen. Summer lovin' happens when Jensen, a nerdy engineering type, moves into a summer beach house with his college roomies and befriends Jared, a young guy who works down at the docks chartering boats for drunken college kids. While Jensen's friends go out scuba diving and waterskiing, Jensen always ends up tinkering around back on the boat because he can't swim. He's afraid of the water, so he brings a book or tries to figure out how the boat engine works while his friends cavort around in the ocean. He and Jared become friends - Jared takes him fishing, teaches him to drive the boat, and eventually teaches him to swim. And also, buttsex!
5. Cruise AU. During the summer between his junior and senior years in high school, Jared is dragged, kicking and screaming, on a two week cruise with his family. He meets Jensen, who works on the boat as either a porter, waiter, instructor of something, etc. Jensen is older, sexy and flirtatious. Jared is confused, attracted and experimental. There are handjobs in back rooms, blowjobs over shore excursions. But before things get really steamy (read: buttsex!), the cruise ends, and Jared goes back to San Antonio questioning his sexuality. The summer after he graduates, he convinces his buddies (CMM is a must) to take the same cruise as a post-grad celebration. Jensen is there again, and they pick up where they left off. Only this time, Jared knows what he wants. Buttsex!
