Aww maaaaan. Just got the word from the insurance man about the car repairs. They said the fix price on the jagular's rear suspension will be about 4K-ish. Apparantly that broadside damage was a bit more than could be repaired with a crowbar. So they've decided to total out the car. Buh-bye, no more jagular. It's to be sold for parts ( Read more... )

Wow, that was short lived.

Jags are expensive as hell maintenece wise, so you might be better off. The woman next to me at work drives a Jag, they wanted 250.00 just forthe blown out headlight.

Yeah. I'm glad i didn't do too many repairs. The only thing i bought was a petrol cap, and that was $26 alone. Y'know the screwy thing that closes the gas tank? $26.
I was pretty nonplussed when i found that my city MPGs were lower than a frickin' Hummer. Yes, truly, i got off cheap. I just didn't realize the drive out tag was an expiration date for the car.

My talent seems to be uncannily making the best of what should be a bad situation. Who couldn't make use of that?

It was much like riding in your car, only substitute english for german. Many superflous buttons that may or mayn't have done anything at all. The air conditioning flunked, the leather was cracking and the stereo sucked. The onboard computer was a little buggy to boot. I'll miss it terribly and think of it fondly.
