yeah, years ago on thee olde Amiga (after reading an article on how Coldcut were VJing with Amigas - small world).
Most VJing is done with laptops/software, but with those Pioneer decks people are starting to do it live (if you can afford it). Try Vjamm (and other packages like it)
I'm more of an audio-mix guy myself, though I tend to do big long ambient type mixes and its quite hard to get quality wave-splashing video clips to go with it :)
